The Enugu capital territory development agency has intensified efforts to restore Enugu master plan and make the capital city attractive to visitors.
The agency on Thursday continued demolition of illegal structures in the metropolis.
One of the affected buildings located at 67b Chime Avenue by Mbanabo Street cutting off Mbanefo Street was finally pulled down after expiration of final eviction notice issued to occupants of the illegal structure.
The residential building was built by a former military officer immediately after the 1983 coup on a waterway and access road.
The building has long been billed for demolition by past governors of the state but could not materialise due to lack of political will.
