Enugu lawmaker, Nnajiofor thanks God for successful burial of mother-in-law
Political associates, friends as well as well-wishers and supporters joined the member, representing Nkanu East State Constituency at the Enugu state House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Paul Nnajiofor and his family to thank God for his faithfulness during the burial ceremony of his mother in-law, Late Mrs Nancy Onwubiko.
The late Mrs Onwubiko, mother of Chief Paul Nnajiofor’s wife was buried January 3, this year.
In appreciation of the successful completion of the burial ceremony, the Nnajiofors thought it needful to come to God in Thanksgiving.
While speaking at the Thanksgiving service held at Assemblies of God Church, New Haven, Enugu, the lawmaker eulogized his late Mother in-law whom he described as “a good mother – in-law, a caring woman”.
He stated that while it was the desire of the family and all those around her for her to continue to live, it pleased the Creator to call her earlier than was expected.
According to him, despite numerous challenges encountered during preparations and the actual burial by the family, it recorded huge success as no casualty was recorded.
Chief Nnajiofor appreciated the church and all those who stood behind them during the period.
His wife who praised him for being a pillar of support equally thanked members of the church for their prayers and other support.
