ENUGU PGs hail appointment of Mamah as Commissioner, Rural Dev
The Enugu State Council of President -Generals has described the appointment of Prince Emeka Mamah as the new commissioner for the State Ministry of Rural Development as a round peg in a round hole.
They commended the State Governor for appointing him and promised they will work with him to achieve the Governor’s dream in ensuring community peace, security and social economic development.
Speaking during a meeting, Chairman of the Association, Bar Pauly Eze, said they were in the ministry on a familiarisation visit to the new Commissioner and also used the opportunity to congratulate him on his appointment.
According to the Chairman, their executives came into power during the administration of Gov. Sullivan Chime but they had never had it so good like Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s administration.
He said Gov. Ugwuanyi has provided state Office for them, empowered them through grants for community development and above all approved the payment of monthly stipend to all community presidents General in the state.
He stated that so many rural development developmental projects are ongoing, adding that he will be very grateful to work with them in achieving the ministry’s goals.
