Enugu STVSMB Chairman tours Vocational Schools across the state

The newly appointed Executive Chairman of Enugu State Science Technical and Vocational Schools Management Board (STVSMB) Dr. G.O.C Ajah has fully assumed duty with familiarization tours of Science Technical and Vocational Schools in the six educational zones in the State.

At Technical College Obe in Agbani Zone, the Board Chairman noted security challenges that is facing the school and assured the Principal of the readiness of Government to tackle the problem.

Also at Special Science Agbani, both Boys and Girls, the Board was informed of the encroachment of land speculators in the area and the need for thorough fencing of the school, and commended the present administration for provision of infrastructures in the Schools.

In Awgu Zone, the Board Chairman G.O.C Ajah commanded Uhugo Community  for making good use of Governor lfeanyi Ugwuanyi’s Government released #5Milllon in the development of Uhugo Technical College and also applauded SEDI, ENSUBEB, and STVSMB for their efforts in laudable development of the School site.

He pledged Government continued effort in supplying technical equipment, to the school in order to realise the educational vision of the present administration.

At Mgbowo Technical College the Board Chairman charged students to be hardworking in order to reciprocate government investment on them, stressing that efforts would made be geared towards providing additional infrastructures to enhance their desired academic growth.

He frowned at encroachment of school land by Ezinesi Oduma Community urging the community to support the ongoing transformation of the school by Governor lfeanyi Ugwuanyi’s Government.

The Performance of Government Technical College (GTC) Enugu, Technical College Mgbidi and Technical College Amoli were applauded by the Chairman and his team and urged the Principals, Staff and Students of the schools to see themselves as citadel to be emulated in technical education subsection. He charged them to soar higher for desired technical development in the State.

Other Schools visited include Colliery Technical College Ngwo, Technical College Udi, Technical College Obinagu Akpugo and Government Technical College Akpuoga Nike.

In Chairman’s entourage were Member 1 Mrs Pat Uzoigwe, representing Enugu North Senatorial zone, Member 3 Mr Ben Ukwu representing Enugu West Senatorial zone, Board Secretary Lady Meg Ogbonna and key Management Staff of STVSMB.
