GOUNI student emerges VC for One Day two consecutive time

In keeping with the tradition which was introduced to the University in 2018 by the Vice Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke , Miss Scholastica Ogbodo, a 400 level student of the Physics Department under the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences emerged the Vice Chancellor for one day for the second consecutive time after maintaining a CGPA of 5.0.

The policy is said to have attracted a lot of commendations from both the private and public sphere.

According to the Vice Chancellor, the policy was instituted to reward academic excellence and promote academic competition.

Highlights of the Vice Chancellor for One Day in office; was Review of the Students Hand book on Punishment, raising of funds to solve student’s financial problems, Student NGO policy pronouncement, mentorship, etc.

She also had a meeting with the University’s Senate on ways to move the University forward.
