SAM Ngene, Ugwu pick Enugu South Urban, Rural Constituencies tickets
Sam Ngene has emerged winner in the PDP primary election to represent Enugu South Urban state constituency while the member representing Enugu Rural State constituency ,Onyinye Mary Ugwu was declared winner for the constituency primary elections.
Ngene polled a total number of 40 votes to defeat the incumbent, Paul Ogbe Okenwa whereas Hon.Mrs.Ugwu got 102 votes as a sole aspirant.
The PDP Returning Officer, Chief Orji C.A. Orji assisted by the presiding officer, Mr. Chidi Okeke declared Hon. Ugwu as winner for Enugu South Rural state constituency.
While Mr. Ejike Ugwu,PDP returning officer for Enugu South Urban state constituency formally declared Hon.Ngene as winner.
Meanwhile Hon.Chijioke Mba and Hon.Peter C. Agbo stepped down for Hon. Sam Ngene.
While Collins Ugwu and Barr.Jennifer Oko-Ugwu stepped down for .Mrs. Onyinye Ugwu making her sole aspirant for the election.
